From the rippling surface of the mighty Hudson to the wide open blue of the skies, Stratus takes you on an upward journey of dramatic Palisades views, creative spaces, and unique contemporary design.
Everywhere we turned, the building reflected its inspired natural surroundings and Brio had so much depth of architecture to work with: The Sky Lounge doubled as an star observation deck, floor levels featured elemental accent walls that symbolized the Hudson River (water) to Palisades (earth) to on highest floors a stratus cloud-filled sky. We used watercolors and watermarks to envelope the linear formation of the connection point where water-meets-earth-meets-sky. As the floors of the building's gradual ascent layer upward, the color palette built dynamically: Starting with shades of steel gray, dark cherry, earth green which cap the Palisades; then crystal clear blues rise in an airy way to denote a completion of this over-arching concept of elevation. As we moved through the aspects of life at Stratus on Hudson, we differentiate ourselves from the competition downtown by making a point that we are in North Yonkers. A location very close to a sought-after neighborhood called Hastings-on-the-Hudson. Therefore, we thoughtfully added 'on Hudson' to our name as a nod to our proximity to Hastings. It was important to highlight this point whenever possible, so we also used Location, Elevated. as another powerful sub-headline. North Yonkers offers a desirable upscale lifestyle along with breathtaking Palisades vistas; much different from the crowded hubbub of the downtown Yonkers.
